His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Commissioner General of Expo 2020 received Sultan al-Bohra Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin at Dubai Expo 2020 on Friday the 17th of December.
Upon his arrival, Syedna Saifuddin was escorted to the Leaders Pavilion where he was welcomed by Sheikh Nahyan and Reem Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Managing Director of the Expo.
Syedna Saifuddin congratulated Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak and his team on the success of the Dubai Expo 2020. He praised the vision and efforts of the UAE government for undertaking one of the world’s most diverse and innovative expositions, particularly during the pandemic.
During their meeting, Sheikh Nahyan thanked Syedna Saifuddin for accepting the invitation to visit Expo 2020. Exchanging views on areas of common interest, Sheikh Nahyan commended the efforts and contributions of Syedna Saifuddin and members of the Dawoodi Bohra community, towards the socio-economic progress of the UAE.
Later, Syedna Saifuddin and the delegation were escorted to the UAE Pavilion that symbolises the nation’s pioneering spirit, dedicated to its rich cultural history, thriving present and visionary future.
